I thought I had drank all of these some time ago. During a recent cellar cleaning/reorganization I found it, along with a few other wines I forgot about. Lots of tar and blackberries, still good tannins and plenty of acidity to balance it all out. A touch of woodiness shows up on the finish. This has filled out, gotten thicker on the mouth, and has lost some of that youthful freshness when it was younger. That's by no means a complaint, instead it's a compliment. Considering this is the little brother to the main Vesuvio Douro wine it's holding up really well.
