For the last 10 years I've thought that 1977 ports have been on the down path. An exception tonite a 1977 Taylor

San Francisco Cellar Master??? price $25.95 I paid more-soft cork but whole.

Nose: great-deep-some maturity

Body: full

Taste: great-deep-burns-the best in a very long time

Aftertaste: very good

19+/20 the best in 20+ years.

Glad to hear this is showing nicely. I have 1 bottle ... the 2nd Vintage Port I ever bought, after a 2000 Graham's. Not quite ready to open it, though. Maybe a couple more years.

A great vintage and I love a great showing 1977. Sadly, as been mentioned many times here, the issues this vintage has with corks means it's a roll of the dice if a bottle shows well or not.

Hmmm...haven't checked my bottle in several years. May be time to check on it.
