1983 Dow's vintage port

37.5 cl. Decanted 4.5 hrs. A lot of sediments. Medium red with a touch of brown. Aroma showing raisins, oak, old humid cellar, prunes, “bakery”, sweet fruits, tiny bit spirit. Full body. Smooth, but still with plenty power, sweet style, ripe fruit (but not overripe), some tannins in a nice way, some bitterness towards the end pulling down the score. Medium to long aftertaste. 92 pts.
