Tasted blind. Bottled 2011. A little more refreshing than the previous wine (Dow 40), and more fruit than anything tasted yet today (Dow, Rocha, Kopke 40s, 1958 Krohn Colheita, Yalumba 50). There are aromas of cherry, berry, and some alcohol spirit too, as well as tanginess and citrus. In the mouth, this is really sweet, with good acid, but the balance is more to the sweet side. It is figgy too. Improving some with time, but not with the balance of the Rocha. 92 points.
