2011 Quinta do Crasto LBV

Bottled 2015. Really dark, magenta purple. Aromas of grape stem, brambleberry, dark cherry, red Jolly Rancher, and more cherry. Intense fruit flavor; seems more classical Port fruit than the previously tasted 2007 LBV. Better balance. Lots of tannins, good acid. More fruit flavors, with boysenberry, red fruit, even some strawberry. 91-92 points now, but this could improve. Give it time.
