2005 Quinta do Crasto Vintage Port

Purple grape aroma, and some alcohol warmth, along with cinnamon and tree bark. Really tannic with lots of red fruit in the mouth, strawberry, and some apple too. Candied fruit flavor, and some acid. Nice, but lacks the balance of some of the others (e.g. Quinta do Crasto 2003 LBV, 2011 LBV, 2003 VP). 89-90 points, but with less potential then the 2003 VP. Later there was some light licorice aroma.
