TN: 2012 Quinta Vale D. Maria Douro red

Decanted 2 hrs. Deep red colour, nearly black. Powerful aroma with fruit, oak, flowers and minerals. Medium to full body. Taste is smooth and powerful in a nice harmony at start, slightly on the sweet side. Thereafter the tannins are coming on in an acceptable/pleasant way. Throughout the taste there is plenty of fruit. Slightly thinner in style than recent vintages of same wine. Medium length aftertaste. 92 pts.
