After several hours of no electricity due to a "storm", which means a little rain fell in Los Angeles, it was getting dark so what better time to enjoy a nice old VP than by candlelight. Lots of licorice root, spices, a smattering of maple on the back end, and a delicate but long finish. This bottle was fully mature but still holding and should for a number of years more.
