This is the Magalhaes vintage port that got a very nice review in Decanter some years ago.
This tasting note is based on consuming two bottles, both with same impression.
Decanted 7.5 hrs. Dark red colour. Tiny bit unclear. Aroma of ripe fruit with hints of oak and wet cellar. Full body. Taste is full of berries, some oak and minerals, all nicely integrated. Tannins were clearly there, but in a subdued way. Quite smooth and in general a very nice vintage port. Will try to find more bottles. 93 pts.
