Place: COWI building in Ã…rhus - Quevedo tasting

Condition: Served at around 14 degrees Celsius

Color: Brownish hue mixed with a blurred orange property, semi transparent

Nose: Lovely nose of burnt caramel

Note:

Full body with predominant notes of caramel, apricots and marmalade. Luckily this just has enough acidity left to counter the sugary components making this a nice a balanced port. It is quite intense and needs to be sipped, but I enjoyed it immensely. Just delicious

Info: This was part of a tasting session with Oscar Quevedo. Time for making elaborate taste notes was scarce.

Score: 91+ points
