2007 Quevedo Vintage Port

Place: COWI building in Ã…rhus - Quevedo tasting
Condition: Served at around 14 degrees Celsius
Color: Dark and opaque
Nose: Strong nose of dark forest berries
Note:
Bold and brash. Strong presence of tannins along side freshness and acidity compliments of the red fruit flavours. A bit closed up and is still developing depth and complexity. I suggest keeping it the cellar for quite some time to let it mature properly. Seems in a bit of hiatus at the moment though still drinking tasty at the moment.
Info: This was part of a tasting session with Oscar Quevedo. Time for making elaborate taste notes was scarce.
Score: 90 points
