2009 Niepoort LBV port

Bottled 2014. Decanted 2.5 hrs. Dark red colour with hints of brown. Aroma is dominated by “raw juice”. Medium body. Powerful and very fruity taste. Medium body. Quite dry from middle part and out. Plenty tannins, some oak. Long aftertaste. Needs to be tested again in a few years time, as this bottle was not so interesting. 87 pts.
