TN: 2012 Quinta da Manoella vinhas velhas (Wine & Soul) Douro red

Decanted 3 hrs. Dark purple colour. Pleasant deep aroma of dark red berries, oak and some minerals. Medium to full body. Taste is full of berries, slightly dry, touch of oak. Acidity at a nice level. Medium length aftertaste. A few points down from previous vintages. 90 pts.

I've not had the 2012, but the 2011 was rocking good. Then again 2012 wasn't as good a vintage.

I agree regarding 2012.
Not too keen on the 2012 Douro red vintage.
