With Portugal playing in the European football semi-final against Wales (I had drank my last bottle of Welsh Riesling some years ago), I opened something Portuguese. Stood up for 24 hours, decanted for one hour before we drank it over 3 hours. The cork came out cleanly in one piece. Mid ruby red optic. The nose was a soft pillow of sweet red fruits and Christmas cake. The mouthfeel reflected the nose, with the ready to drink plummy fruit sliding effortlessly down my grateful throat. Fully mature, if you have any bottles in your cellar then go for them without any hesitation. 89/100.
