The long decanting time was necessary as earlier than 6 hrs it was not where it should be. However, after 6 hrs it gradually moved up in scores and ended at 93 pts.

Quite a lot of sediments, of which much was very small sized.
9 hrs decanting. Dark red colour. Powerful fruity aroma with touch of minerals and oak. Full body. Taste is powerful and quite elegant dominated by wonderful fruit well integrated with minerals. Slightly on the dry side. During decanting period the acidity was on the high side from 5 hrs, but mellowed towards 8-9 hrs decanting time. Medium to long aftertaste. A bit closed in style. 93 pts.
