2007 Dow's Crusted Port

Decanted for 10 hours.
A good amount of sediment with very fine particulates that made it through many layers of cheesecloth.

Nose: Plum, grape jam, a bit of alcohol

Palate: Nice richness with medium viscosity in the mouth. Figs, grape jelly, and a hint of maple syrup. Tannin's lurking in the background. There's a flavor/quality I can't quite put my finger on. Good complexity.

Finish: Drying and short. I wish it was a bit longer.

Sounds like you really enjoyed it. Does this mean you'll be buying more?

A little more "study" is required tonight, but yes, quite likely I'll want to cellar a couple.

Lots of study is the sign of a good student and a successful one :winebath: [cheers.gif]
