TN: 2017 Niepoort Redoma Douro Red

Medium Ruby color. Looks like an extracted California Pinot. Cherry, earth, and subtle grilled meat nose. Gentle entry. This isn't a buiser. Lots of complexity already and wonderful fruit and acid. A gentle Niepoort. It resembles Charme more then some previous versions of Redoma. I love it! It's accessible but there is a lot of upside and very little down side in the future. Maybe the best young Redoma that I have tasted. 93+ points
