Very dark ruby color. Looks quite young. Funky nose and lots of tannins on the first night. Better the next day. A smooth palate and strikingly intense sour cherry, chocolate, and funky anise/tar finish. Almost Syrah like in the finish, which doesn't strike me as a great Alentejo wine. 86 points.
