As I have some bottles of this product/vintage, I wanted to check it out to find the status. For the regular Mouchao I normally decant them for 5-6 hrs. The Tonel 3-4 needs more time.
Decanted 8 hrs, which worked well, although it will be 9 hrs for the next bottle.
Deep, deep purple colour with a light rim. Aroma of berries, oak and minerals. Medium to full body. Taste was powerful, quite elegant, plenty with minerals and soil. Furthermore, some oak, and during the consumption it became more and more soft. Well-structured Alentejo red. Acidity worked well. This vintage is now 10 years, and I will probably let the other bottles wait some more years. 93 pts.

Rune, I opened the regular 2011 Mouchao a couple of months ago. It needed lots more time. I have only one of the Tonel 3-4 and will give a long time.
