TN: 2016 Chryseia Douro Red
Very dark color. Ruby red rim. Slightly smoky cranberry/ pomegranate nose. Still seems very primary. Medium-full body. Not as big as I expected. Very drinkable now with the right food (grilled steak!). This is still an infant, but you can drink it today. Very delicious. Deep fruit flavors. Long finish with excellent acidity. My only worry is about how approachable it is right now. Much more in the Cabernet/Merlot style than a traditional Douro Tinto. 92 points.
