TN: 2017 Julio Bástos Dona Maria Amatis Reserva (tinto)

(Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Touriga Nacional, Syrah)
Deeper aroma than the previously tasted 2016 Touriga Nacional; dark berry fruit with black plum, almost, prune, and black cherry. Like the 2016 TN, this also tastes like a fruit bomb; but it has much better tannins. I think this has better aging potential. The flavors are similar to the aromas, with orange citrus too. There also is some sweet dark fig, if you you could make such a thing without oxidation. Later aromas suggested leather and tar. 92+ points.
