This has nicer aromas than the previously tasted 2016 Traditional Blend, with fruits like plum and cherry, and some sweet candy. Swirling reveals some grape stem and black pepper. There are plenty of tannins here, and nice acid. The body is medium light, a little thing. The flavor has lots of fruit, fairly fresh. This could use some depth and more body, but is a nice wine. 91 points.
