Rustic and salty aromas to start, improving with time to show some berry, and then an odd aroma of a field of weeds and insects, and perhaps even odder, pepperoni. The flavor has lots of fresh fruit juice hiding underneath the rustic funk of forest floor. There is good acidity, some light tannins, and a nice finish. 91+ points.
