1982 Ramos Pinto vintage port
Decanted 5 hrs, which worked well. Some sediments at decanting. Deep dark red colour. Wonderful vintage aroma of fruit and flowers, and also touch of minerals and wood. Hint of dark chocolate. Medium to full body. Delicious, round and rich vintage port dominated by fruit, but also some minerals and herbs, all in a nice harmony. A touch of sweetness. Very good structure and acidity/sweetness-balance. Medium to long aftertaste. 93 pts.
