1994 Ramos Pinto Quinta de Ervamoira vintage port

Post by Rune EG »

Decanted 5 hrs (6 hrs for next bottle). Cork came out in one piece with normal corkscrew. Plenty of sediments. Deep dark red colour with distinct impression of brown. Aroma of fruit, prunes and something undefined sweet. Full body. Powerful (although subdued), sweet fruit, minerals, some wood. Nice tannins. Good structure. Slight dry towards the very end. Long aftertaste. 93 pts.

Hard to screw up this vintage. Glad to hear it’s aging nicely. Thanks for the note
