Decided to kick off christmas with this botttle I found in a local wine shop and couldn't resist to try it even though I usually don't buy tawnies without age. Priced at $28 and with the Graham's name on the label I didn't expect to be disapointed.

Clear glass bottle with large wooden T-cork. The bottle resembles a single malt bottle more than a port bottle, but I like it nevertheless and expect to keep it for my christmas schnaps or the like next year. Looks like the people at Grahams are trying to mimic the Warre's Otima bottle change.

Color was surprisingly light brown/orange which I hadn't expected from a tawny without age. Sweet woody flavor, dried fruits and a slight kick from the alcohol with a pleasant but not so long aftertaste. Very well integrated and a very easy-to-dring port.

+24 The alcohol has been reduced somewhat, and the aftertaste lingers a bit longer, but still drinking smoothly.

I love the bottle design of this, much more of the old school look :)

Wow, cool bottle. I agree with your assessment - it looks precisely like a single-malt whiskey bottle than a bottle of Port.

That being said, if it comes to my market, I will definitely try it. The sex appeal of the bottle means it would likely be double-decanted back into the original bottle :)
