TN: 2011 Pintas Douro red

Decanted 3 hrs which worked well. Dark burgundy colour. Aroma is a wonderful mix of fruit, minerals and wood. Also, hint of herbs. Full body. Elegant, powerful, well-balanced acidity/sweetness and also well-structured. Nice tannins. Pleasant. Quality all the way. Touch of lead towards the end. Medium to long aftertaste. 94 pts.
