2001 Vista Alegre LBV Port
Unfiltered. Some fruit and spirit on the nose. Blackberry, a little hot/spirity right now, but the bottle was just opened. After swirling in a decanter, it still has some bright fruit and very light spirit. Good mouthfeel, medium body, good tannins and structure on the mid-palate and finish. A hit of alcohol on the finish. 91 points. 10/5/2007
