Sample and bottled 2 weeks prior. This will not be offered for commercial sale as a VP.
NOt super dark, but close. A great nose, fully integrated pure fruit. Young plums and berries right now. Thick body with loads of tannins and a ultra long finish. This is dustier than the 2003 VP. There was some discussion as this was drinking really well at the time, but probably doesn't have the stuffing to hold it into long term cellaring. 97 points as it stood, but that score would be lower looking long term.
