September 30, 2021 Port Harvest Tour Day Five
Dinner at D.O.C. to celebrate Dominic Symington's retirement.
As the participants were asked to bring a fine bottle of port from their own cellars to share during dinner, I brought a Dow Vintage 1937 for this special occasion. Dominic had never seen this bottling before and the bottle itself was last seen during the after dinner line up.
September 2025, Roy's Newsletter nr 121
An interesting story about the recently opened Matriarca Townhouse restaurant, with some nice pictures. One of the pictures on page 18 caught my attention. I could hardly believe that the Dow 1937 candle stick is my bottle, but it is. What a coincident!
