2003 Dow's vintage port

Decanted 7 hrs which worked well. Some sediments, but not too much. Colour was deep, deep red and nearly black. Aroma was dominated by fruit. It had actually a hint of anis, which was OK. The taste was powerful and quite heavy and filling the mouth in a wonderful way. Plenty of fruit. Good “polished tannins”. Excellent sweetness/acidity-balance. The aftertaste was very nice. 93 pts.
