2005 Pintas Vintage Port

A brief sip and an impression is perhaps better than no note at all?
In a big walkabout tasting, I got to taste the Pintas Vintage Port 2005. I liked it as it was meaty, but quite reserved on the nose with some attractive herbal notes; a rather elegant style, very tannic and drying yet with enough sugar and fruit that I think I will enjoy this in the future. Not a hugely concentrated, block-buster style of Port but I liked it.
