Nothing is better than a fairly easily day at work then coming home to a nice bottle of Port. While Kopke isn't exactly known for their Vintage Ports, they are well regarded for their wood-aged Ports. A light carmel color with some yellowish higlights on the edge. Its got one of those noses that you don't want to stop smelling. Lots of cinnamon, oranges peel, and mahogony. Lots of acidity brings out the freshness in this Port and highlights the nuts, oranges, white pepper, and cedar. A nice long finish with tobacco at the end has me longing for another glass...and I think I will
