Drunk on 08 October 2008 in a Cockburns vertical in London.

1924 Cockburn
Again, we did not know for definite the producer of this Port, but we knew it began with a capital “C”. The mostly terracotta body had a hint of red in it. The nose showed a distinct mint and desiccated coconut. Although the initial diluted and slightly sweet fig entry to the palate was decent, there was too much distracting alcohol for me to make friends with this wine. This was not the Cockburn’s style, perhaps Calem (due to its sweetness?).
