These should differentiate between a wine snob and wine geek (as in the other thread):
* You walk around a trade tasting resting your wine glass between thumb and index finger ... holding the base of the glass.
* You pay more attention to the "legs" on the inside of your wine glass, than the woman you are with.
* You spend ten minutes perusing the menu in a great restaurant ... AFTER ... a half hour with the wine list.
* You use descriptors with items one would not commonly or willingly, ever smell or eat.
* You use a crystal glass aerator, because you don't "have the time" to decant your bottle.

You buy expensive wine/Port to impress people, but without any real knowledge of the wine itself.
