2000 Rocha Vintage Port

This comes in a neat looking, albeit difficult to stack, narrow square 500ml bottle with a waxed top. After almost 2 weeks of taking around 200 notes in Portugal it was nice to come home, open this bottle, enjoy it over four days, and take no serious notes. I do have some impressions though.
Over the course of four days this evolved from a thin and very hot VP to a pleasant mid-weight bottle with moderate amounts of blueberries and some pronounced mint. The heat did subside quite a bit, but even four days later there was still a significant amount left. I don't think this will ever fully integrate and blow off completely and was it's only major flaw in an otherwise nice VP. 88 points
