Churchill's Vertical Tasting

I have about a dozen vintages of Churchil's going back to 1982, with some rare bottles of Fojo and others, through 1998. Don't if anyone would be interested in partaking, but if so, I'd be willing to put up all of these for the "event." No rush, but what would you think would be a good time and who is interested in learning about this?

I'd love to take part in a Churchill's vertical. Julian shared a 1985 with me in Paris and I was very impressed - while not quite in the same league as Dow, Fonseca, or Graham it is very close. On par, perhaps, with the Smith Woodhouse.

It would be very interesting to see how well the rest of Johnny Graham's endeavor stands up to that high water mark.

I'd be interested too. Just let me know when/where/etc in advance so I can schedule the time off work to come up. I don't have much in my cellar, but I'm sure I could source something if we need to fill in some holes.

As for time, probably sometime in january as flights are cheap and not much is usually going on during that time.

I'm interesed as well. I have a bunch of 1994 Churchill in my cellar as well as soma Agua Alta, but I don't believe that I've had any Churchill from the 80's. I'm intrigued by this shipper and would like to try some of their older stuff. Seeing the progression in their wines from inception to the present isn't something that you can do with most shippers.

How about a Churchill's 20 Year Old Tawny?

As near as I can tell they haven't produced any Colheitas. I've also seen references to a 10 Year Old White, but the only reference that had a picture of the bottle was showing their finest white reserve so I'm doubtful that the 10 Year Old White actually exists because they were all in the $17-$21 range.
