1966 Graham's Vintage Port

Decanted for about 6 hours by the time we started in on this and during that time the color darkened to a deep ruby. Lots of sweet spices and lavender tickled the nose. Plenty of that thick Christmas cake spice and sweetness I've come to expect from this vintage of Graham's. This drank very nicely and Chris and I made quick work emptying the decanter while smoking cigars. This is a favorite of mine from this vintage and it always amazes me how youthful it still is. I suspect it can easily last another 20 years if well stored. Graham's truly is a house that never ceases to impress me with how consistently good their VP's are.
