2004 Croft LBV Port

Unfiltered LBV from a half bottle. Youthful and bright in colour, opaque centre. Fruity nose and pleasant attack, a little acidic but with a good tannic backbone and sufficient fruit. A little awkward and youthful, but very pleasant. Good aftertaste and length. Improved slightly with an additional day or two in the decanter. Has the structure to improve and mature for at least 5-10 years. 87/100. Drunk 27 Feb 2010.
