TN: Quinta do Couquinho Reserva 2006

Post by goncalo devesas »

Located in Torre de Moncorvo (Douro Superior) and produced with touriga nacional, touriga franca and tinta roriz, 12 hect of old vineyards, it aged in french oak pipes with 225 ltrs during 12 months.
14,5% alcohol content

Strong dark color with very few oak influence
On the nose: fruity and floral
On the palate: mature fruit, vanilla, silky tanins, pleasant and long aftertaste

When I was tasting it, I was begging for a rare steak and a spicy cheese.
