I drank most of this bottle within the first 6 hours of opening it. The remainder was finished off 3 days later. It was still drinking well but came off a bit dryer and lighter-bodied after a few days of air, though not by much.

Dark purple with a bright ruby rim. The nose shows lots of dark fruit - black raspberry and grape jam - with some nice chocolate and violet tones as well. Juicy, delicious fruit on the entry with a well defined mid-palate and medium length on the warm, well balanced finish. There is significant grip and tannin for a wine of this class as well as notable freshness and complexity. I have to say, I'm really impressed - this was much more than I would expect out of a basic ruby and one that made me want to just keep on drinking it. :winebath: Comes off more like a good LBV. 86/87pts, Tasted 3/10
