10 Year Old Tawny Port by Croft

A far as I can recall this was my first time with this Port. I really enjoyed the prunes, caramel, and candeid pralines this had on the palate. With some good solid acidity and a hint of tannins and fruit, this showed youthful yet mature notes at the same time. While I liked this the first day, it really showed best the next day when some heat subsided and the flavors seemed to meld together. I found this for $20 a bottle and at that price, or even a little more, is a very good deal for this 10 year Tawny. 90 Points. (90 pts.)
