NV Niepoort Tawny Port

Opened 3 days ago. Dark red with a lighter red rim - not particularly "tawny" looking. Mostly cherry on the nose with some cranberry and light fudge. Soft red fruit/berries, medium concentration and moderate length finish. Doesn't show much heat which is nice, has decent balance but quite simple and more ruby-like than tawny. 83 pts, Tasted 4/17/10
