Pop and pour (20:10 EST). The cork shows very little saturation and was tight but came out perfect. This bottle has a ton of sediment. Lovely ruby/garnet color with little fade on the edge. Just a touch hot with a wonderful coffee syrup taste. A touch jammy complex out the door; this is the best example of Fonseca ’83 I have tried so far. Will update as time goes on unless Elys and I kill it tonight.
A little soon for a rating, but an initial one would be pretty high. 90 points.

T+1 - Bottle is finished. Fruit showed a little more, but basically a slightly softer version of the initial impression. 90 points.

I like hearing that as it our anniversary year and we have quite a bit of it. Our anniversary is Friday April 30. I may try it then.
