Thank you for such a fine note on a clearly unique experience with that Tawny. It would be fascinating to know which property it came from. Those old casks of Tawny, vintage dated or otherwise, are always memorable Ports of character.

Thanks Sarah. Getting better all the time. Heading to Portugal at the end of the week to re-fortify my spirits with great Port & Madeira (and Douro wines along the way).

I liked your article so much, I am going to post it in our Port Basics area. Love the witty title too. "Bridging" ... very nice touch. :clap:

One question, as I find your photography compelling and although i know it is your skill that makes it happen; what type of camera do you use?
