I passed, as I think there are better wines out there for my money. It was a little more tempting than the last WTSO VP, but not tempting enough for me. I also wouldn't be surprised if this showed up at one of my local shops that stocks Pocas.

Is it just me, or do the last few WTSO Port deals not seem like the superb deals we got in the past? They're still solid offerings, but we've seen the ports at better deals before IMHO.

WTSO offerings seem less interesting in general compared to a few years ago. I don't remember the last time I pulled the trigger on something from them.

Even their "no minimum!" event on Monday was underwhelming. I was expecting some real blowout prices, but didn't see anything at all like that.
Like you said, their prices are still good, but I'm not as likely to pick up something from them as an impulse buy when I can get close to their prices on my own schedule.

I think it's a function of the economy recovering, albeit slowly, over the past few years. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have the same access to the same level of stuff that they had before. Nowadays I see that same damn CdP offered for $20 or so over and over again. There's always a deal somewhere on a CdP, you'd think they could score better than that one perpetual offering.

I agree on all counts. The last time I bought from them was magnum madness day; and I'm never going to buy that Grand Tinel CdP.
