1986 Smith Woodhouse Colheita Port

Post by John Conwell »

1986 Smith Woodhouse Colheita:

Color is brick red and crystal clear, turning slightly yellow on the edges.

The nose is plesently strong, smelling of honey, orange and wallnuts.

The flavor is also strong, but not of ancohol...it is not very hot at all. It is also very short on the tongue after you swallow. It starts off with cherries, a little bit of acid, and ends smoothly with peaches (and cream believe it or not).
Thanks, John C
