I think it is good, but not up to the level of the 2011. Regardless, it is still quite nice and the old days of seeming overoaked in its youth ... well with 2012 that is definitely a nice change.

The 2011 was when I noticed a big dialing back in the oak. The 2012 also carries on with the same lower dose.

It was back at same price on December 27 and I picked up four bottles. I still have 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010 in my cellar.
