This was an odd duck Port for me. I don't have a lot of experience with Warre's, but I was expecting something a little more floral and feminine. The bottle wasn't bad, but it was a lot drier than I was expecting. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it. I would recommend a much longer decant then my time of 5 1/2 hours as this drank better on Day 2 versus Day 1. This is a nice, pleasant although different Port. 91 points

Re: 1983 Warre Vintage Port
1983 Warre was the first "old" bottle of Port that I opened, and I didn't like it at all. So much so that it really pushed me away from Warre for several years. Your tasting note does sound familiar, so maybe 1983 was just a bad year for Warre?
