Re: On WTSO now
I just signed up for regular membership. Are most port offerings under the regular or platinum memberships?
Re: On WTSO now
They probably offer more under the regular but why miss out, I have both. Just send them an email that you would also like to be a Platinum member and they will add you.John F. Newman wrote:I just signed up for regular membership. Are most port offerings under the regular or platinum memberships?

Re: On WTSO now
They got around to adding me to the Platinum one this morning but couldnt find the deal anymore.
They seem to have some really great deals. Look fwd to seeing their Port/Madeira/Portuguese wine offerings!

Platinum only offers three deals per day, the first one at 10:00 am Pacific, and once sold out they close for they day. I didn't see my notification about this Port until after it was sold out.Miguel Simoes wrote:They got around to adding me to the Platinum one this morning but couldnt find the deal anymore.

I've been using Platinum for a while now, and as near as I can tell Platinum offerings are generally a little more expensive than WTSO offerings (though with similar discounts). I originally thought that Platinum was just for lower volume wines, and that's possibly still the case, but the price difference is notable.

Re: On WTSO now
Pocas 2009 VP, $40/bottle, must buy two.
Re: On WTSO now
Got 2...it is Pocas Junior
I had this with the Port Club on Friday---it was tied for WOTN in a lineup of 6 (and the best VP). The other WOTN was Casa de Santa Eufemia 30 Year White.

Re: On WTSO now
I saw that, but was a little disappointed at the price. For WTSO that seems like a not-so-great deal, but maybe my perception is just skewed by all the good deals we see posted on FTLOP all the time.Eric Menchen wrote:Pocas 2009 VP, $40/bottle, must buy two.

Re: On WTSO now
Agree w Glenn. It was a decent deal but not a crazy good one... passed also. Would have got some at or below $35.
Re: On WTSO now
Think Glenn & Miguel are correct--not a no-brainer like some of the offerings (2003 Ferreira VP for $19.99 was ridiculous)....still a decent deal and the one I just opened was very good.
Any Port in a storm!
